About this experience
The luxury manicure in Hurghada is a complete one-hour hand ritual: rose-petal soak, gentle scrub, hydrating mask, careful cuticle work, professional nail shaping, real hand massage and polish in your colour. Egyptian sun and Red Sea salt age the hands faster than most travellers expect; this 60-minute treatment reverses a week of beach exposure in one calm session. Free pickup and drop-off from any hotel, resort, apartment or hostel inside Hurghada is included.
Why hands need a real manicure in Hurghada
Hands take more punishment on a Red Sea trip than people realise: salt water, daily sunscreen, hot sand, the dehydrating effect of pool chlorine. By day four most travellers notice the back of the hands feeling tight and the cuticles dry. A real manicure addresses all of that in 60 unrushed minutes. The order matters: soak first, then scrub, then mask, then cuticle, shape, massage, polish, finish. Each step prepares the next.
The 8 steps of our manicure
1. Hand soak. Warm water with rose petals and gentle cleansers softens the skin and relaxes the hands; 5-7 minutes.
2. Hand scrub & exfoliation. Gentle exfoliation removes dead cells and restores smoothness on the back of the hands and around the cuticles.
3. Hydrating hand mask. A nourishing mask deeply moisturises and improves softness in the freshly-exfoliated skin.
4. Cuticle & dead-skin care. Careful work around the nail edge. We don't cut cuticles aggressively; we soften and push back, the way nail techs in Europe were trained 30 years ago.
5. Nail filing & shaping. Professional file shape, your choice of square, round, oval or almond.
6. Relaxing hand massage. Moisturising creams and oils, real pressure on the back of the hand, the wrist and the lower forearm.
7. Polish. Your favourite colour applied with precision; full range of regular and gel-style options (gel +€5).
8. Final touch. A last moisturising layer leaves the hands smooth, healthy and elegantly polished.
Who books this
Travellers a few days into a Red Sea trip noticing the hands feel tight, anyone with a wedding or evening event the next day, couples making it a his-and-hers afternoon (pedicures bookable in parallel), business travellers who want hands that look professional on the next video call. Most guests come from Sheraton Road, Hurghada Marina, El Mamsha and Old Town hotels.
After the session
Polish dries in 20 minutes inside the spa; you can pack within half an hour. Avoid the pool and direct sun for 4 hours so the polish sets fully. The hand mask + massage moisture lasts 2-3 days, top up with hand cream after every wash. In a 7-10 day holiday, two manicures is the right rhythm.
What to Expect
Plan around 1 hour 15 minutes door-to-door including the free pickup and drop-off inside Hurghada. El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi are +€10 per guest. From Sheraton Road, the drive is 8 minutes; from the Marina, 12.
The room is calm, two manicure stations allow couples to be treated side-by-side. Tell the technician at the start about brittle nails, recent gel work that needs careful removal, allergies to nail polish ingredients (formaldehyde, toluene), or skin conditions on the hands, we adapt the cuticle step and product choices accordingly.
Polish (regular) is included. Gel-style polish that lasts 2-3 weeks is +€5; tell us at the start so we use the right base coat.
